OUr Philosophy
Rooted in Real. Crafted with Care.
At Series A Foods, we believe that food should be more than sustenance — it should be a quiet act of reverence. A connection to the earth. A gesture of care. A story of where we are, and who we’re becoming.
Our mission is to honor the ingredients that come from nearby soil, grown by hands we know, in fields we visit, under skies we share. We craft each dish from what the land gives us — in season, at its peak, and without compromise.
We do not chase trends or disguise ingredients. Instead, we choose clarity over complexity, letting vibrant vegetables, living herbs, heirloom fruit, and clean oils speak for themselves. Every element on the plate is selected with discernment, prepared with thoughtfulness, and served with respect for its origin.
This is food rooted in place — harvested close to home, reflective of the seasons, and guided by a deep respect for purity, sustainability, and intention.
We call ourselves Series A not only for our California roots, but for our belief in beginnings. Like a farmer’s first harvest or a founder’s early vision, we believe the best ideas start small, local, and full of promise.
We invite you to slow down, eat deliberately, and rediscover what it means to be truly nourished.
Our Mission
At Series A Foods, our mission is to serve real food—grown locally, guided by the seasons, and prepared with intention. We partner with farmers, foragers, and producers we know by name to source ingredients that are pure, honest, and rooted in the land. Every dish we create is a reflection of our belief that nourishment begins with the earth, and that the future of food is clean, thoughtful, and deeply connected to place.
-
At Series A Foods, our relationship with the land begins just beyond the city — in the sun-drenched fields of Brentwood, Northern California, where rich Delta soil and a Mediterranean climate yield some of the region’s most beautiful produce.
We work directly with a handful of small, generational farms in Brentwood who share our commitment to clean growing practices, regenerative land stewardship, and seasonal harvesting. These are not anonymous suppliers — they are partners in craft. We walk their orchards, taste in the field, and build our menus around what’s truly in season.
-
By sourcing this close to home, we not only reduce waste and transit — we deepen our connection to the land and the people who tend it. Every dish that begins in Brentwood carries that story forward: of sun, soil, and the slow, deliberate work of growing something real.
-
That real nourishment begins in the soil and ends in connection.
That flavor follows integrity. That beauty lies in what’s whole, not what’s engineered.
We believe food should be local, seasonal, and intentional —
a reflection of land, labor, and love.
And that returning to real ingredients is not a trend —
it’s a return to truth.
